Here are some testimonials from former players and parents.

We are so grateful to have found Coach Jay. Not only is he a phenomenal instructor and motivator, he genuinely cares about his students and goes the extra mile to help them with their recruiting efforts by reaching out to other college coaches. He is such a wonderful person; our daughter looks forward to all of her lessons with him. We highly recommend Jay!! -Maureen Meeks (Hannah Meeks ’22 Illinois State University Commit)

Coach Jay instructs both my daughters at an elite level. My oldest daughter is pitching in college and the other is committed to pitch at a collegiate level in the future. One of Coach Jays greatest qualities is using different key phrases and ques for each individual pitcher. Over the years, we have found that both my daughters (one being left-handed and one being right-handed) interpret phrases and ques differently. I personally believe over the years finding a pitching coach that is open to using different ways of communicating their philosophies to an individual is the most difficult, but Jay most definitely has successfully shown this quality with my daughters.

Coach Jay has helped my daughters reach fluidity in their motions to gain speed and true spin on the ball. Another quality of Coach Jay is that he has taught both my daughters not only the mechanics of pitching but the use of deception and late break in order to gain success on the mound. He is an uplifting coach and has true passion for the game, not only is he supportive and positive towards the players he coaches, but he treats everyone like family. -Mark Flinn (Olivia and Maddie Flinn  – ’20 and ’22 Olivet Nazarene University Commits)

Coach Jay is one of the best pitching coaches around. He puts mechanics first and truly understands the fundamentals required for being a successful pitcher. He is able to instill confidence in his students while making necessary corrections. He is very good at working with them on their level and is great at getting through to them how and why they need to make adjustments. We moved to a new town and we suggested maybe a new pitching coach, to shorten drives and just to change things up. She was very reluctant, but after just one lesson she was hooked. She had fun, she could feel progress, and that was the most important thing for us and for her. We have been with Jay for about two years now, and a lot of great progress later, our daughter will be fulfilling her dreams and playing division I softball in the fall. We could never thank Coach Jay enough. – Jennifer Kita (Brinkley Kita – ’22 Lipscomb Commit)

My son Seth plays on Junior National Team for Israel, part of European Division.   We have been traveling in USA since mid-June on our way to Midland, Michigan for the World Championship F19u. I was looking for a pitching coach to help get Seth ready and back into the pitch of things before games start 7/22. We were so fortunate to find Jay Bolden. There are so few fastpitch pitching coaches that can train at the national team level. Jay exceeded our expectation far more than we ever expected that I invited him to come and help or participate in clinics in Israel. Any one that wants to advance to a high level would be lucky to find someone like Jay to train them. – Jay Ross  -(Seth Ross – Pitcher  – Junior National Men’s Fastpitch Team for Israel )
